Moerbei Cabernet Sauvignon Shiraz
Wine profile

It’s a modern big red
Full-bodied and brimming with jammy fruit, texture from tannins (the stuff in grape skins and seed) and hints of smoke and spice (all the good stuff), these wines have everything. Great for pairing with food with big flavours, and impressing your mates.

Look out for other big powerful reds like Shiraz, Zinfandel, Appassimento and erm… more Shiraz.

Addictively delicious Cabernet Shiraz blend.

Absolutely delicious and a prime example of what Cabernet is all about with lots of juicy loosey cassis flavours ganging up with a lovely milk chocolate hit. All in all, scrummy.

The grapes used to make this wine were bought with Angel money – which means you get it cheap as chips.

This tummy warming red is sure to be a hit with Angels, and there isn’t much of it…so get cracking, and don’t forget to pick up a lamb biryani on your way whilst you’re at it.

Kobie and Faisal
Kobie was head winemaker at South Africa’s ancient Spier winery, with the oldest wine cellar in the land. Faisal was the business brains that transformed Spier into the nation’s most medalled winery in the 1990s.

They bought a vineyard right next door to Spier, and for years sold them their grapes, which went into Spier’s top-of-the-range boutique wines.

Angel backing now means they use their own grapes to make a range of game-changing wines that have become cult classics at Naked. If you like trying new wines that make you go, ‘where has this been all my life?’, you’ll love Kobie & Faisal.
